Inspired by rhythmically rich and funky music, this class places a strong emphasis on developing a grounded jazz movement style. All classes begin with a sequential warm-up incorporating gentle stretching, followed by isolations, traveling progressions and combinations that make this class both challenging and really fun! This class promotes co-ordination, freedom of movement, confidence and overall body awareness in a supportive environment.
Jazz 8-9: Saturdays, 1:15-2:00pm
Jazz 10-11: Saturdays, 3:00-3:45pm
Jazz 12-14: Saturdays, 11:30-12:15pm
Jazz 15 +: Fridays, 5:30-6:30 pm
In studio classes will be taught by Kelly Steadman. Online classes taught by Chenise Mitchell.
