This class is designed to provide students with the history and culture of hiphop in a fun and challenging setting. Dancers will learn the foundational knowledge of hiphop which includes the elements (bboying, mcing, graffiti, djing, beatboxing) and styles (popping, locking, house, breaking, krump, wacking). All levels and ages are invited to explore this diverse urban genre while building confidence and learning how to express themselves through choreography and freestyling. With a better understanding of Hiphop, dancers will be performance ready by the end of the season. . This class will be taught by Jordan Letlow.
Hip Hop 8-9: Saturdays 2:00-2:45 (born 2011-2010)
Hip Hop 10-11: Saturdays 3:30-4:15 (born 2009-2008)
Hip Hop 12-14: Saturdays 12:15-1:15 (born 2007-2005)
Hip Hop 15 and up: Saturdays 5:00-6:00 (born 2004 and earlier)
Adult Hip Hop: Saturdays 4:15-5:00
