This spring, we are offering Dancer Screening sessions online for Guelph Youth Dancers. Whether you have a question to ask or a goal to achieve, now is your chance to ask physiotherapist and Dancer Wellness coordinator Heather Finn what you can do from home! Here’s how online sessions can help:
· Think about the areas you normally stretch or strengthen in class. If you are making progress on your own, congratulations! If you are looking for exercises that you can do at home to improve your flexibility, strength, core, balance, turns, jump power, breathing, or mental practice skills, ask Heather.
· With the shift to online learning you are likely moving less than usual or doing different activities than usual to stay fit such as walking, running, biking, working out, etc. You also might be wondering which online classes to take, or whether they are appropriate to your age and skill level. If you have questions, ask Heather.
· If you are used to hands-on treatment from a health professional such as a chiropractor, massage therapist, osteopath or physiotherapist and you want to learn more strategies to self-treat, ask Heather.
· If you are experiencing a new issue that you want to have assessed, ask Heather.
